Locating:Locating Inspiration.

For Locating, my concept is Exposure.  I am researching this within a nature theme searching for hidden patterns within leaves and mushrooms. 

This image focuses on stripping back layers, dissecting certain areas exposing the patterns.I created drawings showing layering to develop textures by adding papers and found materials.

These particular drawings are more interesting to work from and stand out from the rest.

This image shows that my work has started to look too representational, due to my use of colour. The browns and greens together are not colours I would like to develop further in my work.  I am going to take the green tones further, to brighten my work.

 The main focus has been the colour so I am going to make monotone drawing. By using a monotone palette, I will develop my patterns and look into the shapes I am creating.
