Weave Samples.

These samples are inspired by my initial orange and purple photograph taken whilst out mapping the city. Throughout these samples I am trying a range of different looms to create various patterns. I think the first sample, the honeycomb pattern is a very strong pattern and creates texture and volume. The first few samples I did were all rather flat using only cotton, however I then developed this by using chunky wools and fancy yarns. However I stuck to the same colour pallet of oranges, purples, and maroons so I had the same theme throughout, my samples related and were consistent. To develop this work further I would start to research my own patterns. I will carry this colour pallet into the knit workshop again.
