Vasilj Godzh's work is extremely inspirational due to the pattern. My work is mainly based on soft circular motions, Godzh's work with the strong spiralling illustration gave me many ideas on the pattern and shapes within my work. Now I am moving on to machine embroidery I feel this artists work will help me, as the strong lines are more similar to what a machine stitched line will look like, therefore Godzh's work is helping me create that line however in a sensitive manner.
