During this weeks tutorial, I was told to pick my favourite pieces. These three were my most developed samples, relating to my development within my sketchbook. All the colours within these pieces are gentle and sensitive, many of the colours don't quite match however, through layering the threads and fabrics I have achieved a subtle blend. The use of the Cornely machine has given me a broken delicate pattern especially when using the mossing stitch. When I move on to machine embroidery I will bring in many hand techniques, to help recreate the flowing sensitive rhythm which I have achieved in my other hand samples.
